Victim of fatal wreck near Holy Trinity church in McCandless identified

The Allegheny County Medical Examiner has identified the man who died in an SUV that crashed near the parking lot o a McCandless church on Wednesday, according to authorities.
Thomas James Reardon, 61, was found dead in the vehicle near Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church in the 900 block of Providence Boulevard. He was pronounced dead at 6:24 a.m.
Reardon founded Crystal Limousine in Ross Township in 1990 and operated the company until his retirement in 2018, according to information posted on social media by family and friends.
Tire tracks were visible in the snow on the lawn at the corner of Cumberland Road and Babcock Boulevard near the church and the damaged SUV Reardon was driving was sitting in the church parking lot.
The medical examiner has not yet released the cause and manner of Reardon’s death.
The incident is being investigated by McCandless police.
