Art created by students from four North Hills high schools will be on display at The Block Northway shopping center in Ross Township from Jan. 13 to Feb. 7.
The artwork, which will be displayed in the lower level of the shopping center’s South Corridor, is created by elementary, middle and high school students from the Hampton, North Hills and North Allegheny school districts as well as Holy Cross Academy.
“We hope the students’ art will continue to inspire the community to celebrate the arts and embrace creativity, dreams and passions in their children,” said Frank Licata, president of LRC Realty, which operates The Block Northway.
“We really appreciate all the hard work and dedication from contributing artists and their teachers. The exhibit is another way we honor and respect the important role the visual arts play in the lives of so many students, and is designed to give guests an opportunity to view the talents of local student artists,” Licata said.
